Now I'll give you some info on where I live.

                              Barrow-in- Furness,

A small industrial town of about 60,000 population, famous for it's ship building.  Situated in the South West of Cumbria on the coastline of the Irish sea.
Barrow is well known throughout the world for it's ship building.

It is recorded that never before in England has an industrial town grown so quickly, from a village to a town. It is believed
to have been over a period of five years.

I am not a Barrovian by birth however as I came here as a baby, I class myself as an adopted Barrovian.

I am very proud of my home town as my Dad was, he was a true Barrovian, born and bred.
This is my dad Frank, who died on 8th January 1992 aged 70 years.
He was a great bloke and is dearly missed.

Semper Sursum, the motto on the Barrow coat of arms,  means Always Rising.
This was chosen by Sir Ramsden, as his idea was that Barrow, as a town would achieve great things.
